Frequently Asked Questions

Mt. Zion University is an at home, self-paced bible study.. We also have in person opportunities through attendance at noon Bible Study on Tuesdays at Mt. Zion Oakwood Village, or a special 4 week in person session. The study has up to 12 sessions. You can do them at your own paces but it is suggested that you do one session per week. 

Students are asks to do either 4 sessions, 8 sessions, and 12 Sessions. We also have a 6 week video session option, or a name your subject option. 

After you read and study each session, all participants are asked to submit reflections and answer a few short questions on the study. There is also a module for questions that will be answered at a later date by Mt. Zion U staff. 

It's up to you. But we ask everyone to try to complete whichever level they would like to participate (4,8,or 12 week) within 12 weeks from the time they start.

Call the church office at Mt. Zion 440-232-2645 and speak to one of the assistants over the phone. They will then contact one of the MTZU staff and they will reach back out to you. You can also email webmaster@mtzionoakwood.org with any questions. 

Well you will be recognized and congratulated on MTZU Graduate Sunday and you will receive a certifcate and special gift for participating. You will also be invited back to the next semester for more engaging Bible Study!
